Challenger Baseball was designed to teach students with cognitive and physical disabilities the basic skills and rules of baseball. The event is open for boys and girls, ages 5-18, who have disabilities that may prevent them from participating in a mainstream Little League program.

Challenger Baseball will provide children with an opportunity to enjoy the full benefits of Little League participation at a level structured to their abilities. More importantly, the program will allow them to be apart of a team, develop social skills, and build self-esteem. With the Little League Challenger Buddy System, we will provide “Buddies” to assist the Challengers running the bases, catching, throwing, pushing wheelchairs etc. Being on the field is just one of the benefits resulting from playing Challenger Baseball.

For families, we will offer friendships and fun. Come as a family and cheer on your child in this exciting event. All players will receive uniforms, trophies, team pictures, and many other opportunities during the Challenger Season.
